The Annual Giving Gala is an event to showcase the talented PULSE Dance Company and EDGE Dancers. It is designed to spotlight our graduating senior class each year.
The purpose of this show is to celebrate the hard work and beautiful accomplishments of these competitive dancers, and to spotlight the PULSE graduating seniors. For more than 10 years, the KJ Giving Gala has provided more than $80,000 in cash scholarships for our graduating seniors. Their scholarships were used at the following universities: Arizona, Auburn, Baylor, Boston Conservatory, Chapman, Colorado, CU Bolder, George Mason, Julliard, Louisiana State, NYU, Northeastern, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Penn State, Philadelphia School of the Arts, Princeton, Sam Houston State, Southern Methodist University, University of Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Christian University, Texas Tech, University of Southern California, University of South Carolina, Virginia.

In some years, money was also given towards a benevolent need or worthy cause. $65,000 was collectively given across the following specific opportunities: Sofia Blankenbuehler (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia), The Gabriel Geffer Memorial Scholarship of Excellence, The Debbie Guthrie Memorial Performing Arts Scholarship, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the NYCDA Foundation.

The 11th annual Giving Gala was  held on April 14th at the Allen PAC.

There is never a dull moment as our summer campers explore Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop in one jam-packed 4 day camp week! Camp is a great opportunity to explore one or many new dance styles and enhance your performance skills. Come make new friends and master your groove, team up for dance challenges, and bring out your inner artist as we craft the day away! Our studios transform into a summer wonderland as we embark on a journey of creativity and dance exploration.

Each camp will end with a grand finale CAMP SHOW OFF for family on Thursday of each camp week from 11:40 - 12:00. We will begin each CAMP SHOW OFF promptly at 11:40am to respect the time of audience guests, campers, and the KJ faculty members.

Summer Camps are for boys and girls who are between the ages of 2.5 (potty trained) and 11. Camps will be divided into different groups based on the age of the campers enrolled in each session. Our camps run Monday to Thursday from 9:00-12:00.

Summer intensives will offer the classical techniques of ballet and modern, contemporary, improv, hip hop, jazz, musical theater, and specialty trainings for developing artists. Dancers will explore new ideas of movement and artistic excellence, harvesting a love of dance within versatility. Each dancer is immersed in the various forms of dance to create the ideal well rounded dancer. Dancers will be challenged technically and artistically through a wide variety of classes taught by KJ faculty and professional artists from around the country.

Open to dancers auditioning for a competitive company at KJ, as well as, non auditioning DFW dancers who only wish to participate in the intensive classes.

We love KJ Dance! The teachers are extremely talented, caring, and kind. The end of year concert is not your average dance recital. We are blown away every year with the excitement of a real masterpiece production. There are other events as well: KJ's holiday Grinch performance is something my preschooler fell in love with while just in the audience, so we never missed watching a show, and now she'll perform as a company dancer. For the child that wants one fun-loving dance lesson per week, to the student that aspires to dance in college and beyond - foundations of technique, creative choreography, and experience from industry leaders, is all found at KJ Dance!
